About Beak-a-boo

Beak-a-boo was founded in 2025 as part of the Junior Achievement (JA) of Manitoba Company Program. Our team is comprised of diverse students spanning Grades 9 through 12 at Windsor Park Collegiate in Winnipeg. Our primary product is a curated Bird Watching Kit, designed to give beginners everything they need to start birding. Proceeds fund future educational initiatives and local conservation efforts.

The Beak-a-boo Bird Watching Kit is designed for everyone—from the curious beginner to the budding enthusiast. It includes everything you need to begin your adventure in ornithology: a locally-sourced bird guide, a child-safe set of binoculars, a journal for logging your sightings, and a fun, family-oriented activity book. Our goal is to provide a product that is educational, sustainable, and promotes quality time outdoors.
